As part of the 2020 online program, Unsound presents Weavings, a durational improvisation structured in the manner of a long fabric of sound. Echoing yarns or threads becoming interlaced, each performer plays with two other performers, the one who comes before and the one who comes after. Conceived and curated with Nicolás Jaar, this performance will host a number of artists and instrumentalists from around the world. All the artists will perform live, although due to the experimental nature of the technology used, we will pre-record this event a day earlier.
